Happy New Year! As I say this I really have to reflect on the words. First, yeah it is a New Year and I receive a clean slate full of promise! I also realize that the "happy" part is the word that maybe brings a bit of doubt in my mind. Yes, I am basically happy. However, not with my eating habits or how much I exercise. Therefore, to make sure that I "feel" happy about myself, I am embarking on a new journey to take better care of myself.

Today, I began my exercise and workout journey! I am walking and doing short sprints to get my heart rate up. I also have begun eating more veggies and less meat. I'm also endeavoring to watch a documentary on Netflix called, "Forks Over Knives." I really owe it to myself and to my children to make better food and exercise choices.

Also, blogging is a new journey for me! I hope to have readers, followers, and pinners very soon. Hopefully, I will meet new friends along the way and maybe even inspire others to jump on their bandwagon whatever it may be! Cheers! (with water of course).
